What if you've been asking the wrong question?
Hi {{ first_name }},
One of the hardest conversations I have with women is this one.
They've done everything they were told to do.
They've taken the supplements their friend recommended.
They've joined the Facebook groups.
They've waited for the fertility clinic appointment.
They've been told to keep trying.
And every month they pin their hopes on the next pregnancy being different from the last one.
I understand why.
When you've experienced miscarriage or you're struggling to conceive, hope becomes something you protect fiercely.
But hope can quietly become a substitute for a plan.
The question most women are asking is:
"What do I need to take to get pregnant?"
It's a completely understandable question.
It's just rarely the one that gets us where we need to go.
The question I ask is different.
Why isn't this pregnancy holding?
Or...
What's stopping your body from doing what you desperately want it to do?
They're very different conversations.
Because once we understand why, every decision after that becomes more meaningful.
Sometimes it's nutritional.
Sometimes it's metabolic.
Sometimes it's hormonal.
Sometimes it's inflammation.
Sometimes it's sperm health.
Sometimes it's several small things that, together, are creating an environment that isn't fully supporting pregnancy.
That's why I don't believe in one-size-fits-all fertility advice.
And I don't believe in handing every woman the same supplement plan.
Your body deserves better than guesswork.
This week, I'm going to be talking about something I see every day in clinic.
The assumptions that keep women stuck.
The advice that sounds reassuring but changes very little.
And why understanding your own fertility story will always be more valuable than following someone else's.
If you've ever found yourself wondering, "What else can I do?", I think this week's posts will resonate.
