Hello, I'm Claire Eyre.

12 years as an NHS midwife taught me one thing: too many women are falling through the gap.

I created Fertility-Fit for the women told everything looks "normal" — while still getting nowhere.

I find the missing link. I build the plan. And I stay with you — all the way.

After 12 years as an NHS midwife, I've sat with a lot of women in a lot of difficult moments.

But the ones that stayed with me — the ones that led to Fertility-Fit, were the women I met who were trying to get pregnant and getting nowhere.  Not because nothing could be done. But because nobody had looked properly.

Women with test results sitting in a folder that nobody had explained. Women who'd been told "unexplained infertility" as if that was an answer. Women who'd had two, three, four miscarriages and were still being told everything looked fine.
I started Fertility-Fit because these women deserved better than that.

They deserved someone who would sit with their results and actually look. Who would find the thing everyone else had missed. Who would explain it in plain English, build a real plan, and stay with them, not just until they got pregnant, but through early pregnancy too.

Because I know what comes after a positive test when you've been through loss. The fear doesn't just disappear. You need someone in your corner for that part too.

That's what I do. That's what Fertility-Fit is.
If you've been waiting for someone to finally take your situation seriously — you've found her.

My Story

I didn't come to midwifery in the traditional way.

I became a midwife after having my own children — because I looked at the care women were receiving and thought: we can do better than this.

So I did.

I started on the wards before becoming a community midwife and the homebirth lead for my trust. When I discovered that women who didn't meet the criteria for a home birth were simply having that choice removed from them, I wrote my trust's first guidance to change it. Because women deserve to make informed decisions about their own bodies — full stop.

I went on to complete my MSc in Advanced Midwifery Practice and worked as a transformation midwife, reviewing and reshaping maternity services from the inside to make sure they actually worked for the women they were supposed to serve.

I still work within the NHS today.

Fertility-Fit was born from exactly the same instinct — that too many women are being let down, given half-answers, and left to figure it out alone. And that someone needed to do something about it.

That someone is me.
